The University of Kansas was established by activists who envisioned a free state in which every citizen would have legal rights and the protection of the law. At KU Law, we continue to educate students armed with the knowledge and skills to be strong advocates for their clients and bold leaders in their communities.
The journeys that lead those advocates and leaders to law school, through their time at Green Hall, and into their professional and personal lives as alumni generate some fascinating stories. The KU Law blog tells those tales in the words of our students, faculty and alumni. They have navigated 1L year with trepidation that becomes confidence, organized fundraisers that benefit classmates pursuing public interest careers, led students on biodiversity law field trips to the U.S. Virgin Islands, risen to serve as federal judges, and more.
We hope this blog provides insight into the KU Law experience and what it means to be a Jayhawk Lawyer. Rock chalk!
